Job Description

Employer: European company, new investor, production /assembly

Vacant Role: Plant manager (n-2) coordinates the factory operations / production 15-20 blue-collars, reports to the Operations manager and the CEO.

Requirements

Profile / Level of experience

Expertise and higher studies in industrial engineering, production management, and continuous improvement;
Proven experience in team leading /coordination roles in a manufacturing environment, preferably in similar industries/assembly;
Solid knowledge of production processes, quality, project management, and continuous improvement;
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other areas of the organisation;
Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on efficiency and analytical skills to monitor performance indicators;
Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental standards applicable to the industrial sector;
Fluency in English.

Role / Responsibilities

Supervise all daily operations of the factory, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to deadlines;
Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and optimise processes;
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including supervisors, operators, and support staff, ensuring effective communication and a collaborative work environment;
Monitor performance and implement corrective measures when necessary;
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards, promoting a culture of safety and environmental awareness;
Collaborate with other areas of the company, such as procurement, logistics, and quality, to ensure efficient integration of factory activities with the rest of the organisation.
