Job Description

About the Employer: an automation equipment supplier from Cluj-Napoca. They produce unique, assembly-based equipment, they do all  the life-cycle in-house from the R&D to building the equipment and  setting it into function. They are also providing engineering services for external customers in the automotive industry.

Vacant Role: automation/PLC engineer

Requirements

Profile/ Level of experience
  • Degree in Engineering (automation speciality);
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an automation engineer;
  • Conversational English language skills mandatory;
  • PLC/HMI programmer experience (Siemens PLC, Beckhoff PLC, HMI, servo drives, frequency converters, robot programing);
  • Willing to travel  (Romania/abroad) 25% of the time (more inside Romania than abroad);
  • driving license
Role/Responsibilities
  • Programming and commissioning of industrial equipment;
  • Commissioning of PLC / HMI program;
  • Development, maintenance and verification of control software;
  • Parameterization of drives;
  • Solving software, electrical and process challenges
